DATE FORMATTING ISSUE

Brass Contributor

According to my format settings, the excel shows me like "Perşembe 14.11 - 12:00" when I write "14.11.2019 12:00" on A1 in attached example.

Perşembe means Thursday in Turkish language so it shows Perşembe in A1 because the user of my file is a turkish and use excel in their local language.

I need to show him a combined format including both Turkish and English like "Perşembe (Thu) 14.11 - 12.00" in C1

It looks lile very simple but I couldnt find a way to set a combined format on cells, please help me if you know a method for this

@Anıl AdaşUse this.

=TEXT(A1,"ddddddd dd/mm - hh:mm")&" "&TEXT(C1,0)

You may try the following custom number formatting to display the date in the desired format...

dddd ([$-en-US]ddd) dd/mm - hh:mm
