Convert a spreadsheet from thousands to millions

Copper Contributor

Can anyone tell me how to convert a spreadsheet in which all values were originally entered in thousands back into millions?

All entries were originally entered in thousands. No formatting was used to convert the numbers into thousands. So there is no formatting to undo.

So, for example, I need to convert an entry that says 1,500,000 to 1,500,000,000.

There are hundreds of entries I need to change.

Solution
Enter 1000 in a blank cell, then copy (Ctrl+C) that cell, select your number range (select the top cell and press Ctrl+Shift+ArrowDown), paste special multiply (Ctrl+Alt+V,M), press Enter, Esc, and delete 1000 from the cell where you entered that number earlier.

@Twifoo Got it, Thank you!

You’re welcome!
