Quick Links or links to other sites in tenant cause Suite Bar cog to use previous site
If you use a Quick Links web part to link to another site in your tenant. It will add some wierd ?web=1 to the URL and when you click the link, to navigate to another site, the cog wheel 'add an app' and 'site contents' uses the previous site page context. So If you click a link to a site, then click Site contents, you will get the previous pages site contents not the page you are on.

Haven't gotten much traction on this so did a quick video. I can reproduce this on multiple tenants and a Pretty big bug IMO. Going to try to report to Microsoft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fd1UjfusF4&feature=youtu.be

Mark-Kashman FYI, not sure if I should contact 365 support for this or not, didn't know if you knew about this bug but it's still happening, linking to a site within same tenant the cog for add a page, add an app, site contents will retain previous site's context. Thanks!

Hmmm, so apparently this is even worse of an issue than I thought. If you use these quick links to go to another page, the cog wheel stays in context of the original site you came from. This is a problem IMO. If I get some time I'm going to report this in cause that could be problematic, especially from creating content and permission setting form the main page point of view.
