Can't change lookup column value back to "none" in modern experience

List/libraries that has lookup column which points to another list/library works as expected either in classic or modern experience except when you need to clear the value in lookup column, there is no option in modern experience.

According to MS Support it is not supported in Modern UI and we will need to use the classic mode for all libraries back to classic mode. I wasn't expecting that answer from MS.

I also thought about adding a blank/none record on each library that is being used as lookup column but that won't work for our environment because many lookup fields are pointing to the ID which is not editable (i would need to choose a specific id like 0 or 100 for each library so everyone knows 0 or 100 means "none")

Thanks for posting what you hear back from MS Bikash. That is a really disappointing answer from MS. I'm going to assume / hope that they will fix this soon.
