- RobdeRoosIron ContributorPeter, Alemeshet, Ciaran, Deepika and Venkata. Thank you again this year! These sessions are so worthwhile.
- RobdeRoosIron ContributorAs Rudy posted. Any news on Autopilot? I've read something about Autopilot 2.0....... (hmmm who would have posted that on X 😉 )

I've just followed up with Deepika, to make sure I had my story straight. We are working on improving the experience for our customers, leading to more simplicity, more reliability, and getting this functionality into our sovereign cloud environments. No dates to announce, but we are currently in Private Preview for a limited set of test tenants. - ericschreiber

We are indeed looking at what the future of AP looks like, trying to solve some of the challenges and frustrations of what's currently in-market. You missed the chance to ask Deepika live, but I'd be happy to follow-up for you! Is there anything more specific you'd like to know? - I assume mister Jason S could also talk about it 🙂
- NileshSharmaCopper ContributorThere are multiple places within Intune where a setting can be configured, like Configuration Profile and Endpoint security for instance can configure the same setting. Is there one preferred way over the other and why?

You're spot-on, Nilesh, that there are multiple ways in Intune to set some settings. They're all fully supported, so my suggestion is you use which one works best for you, based on your use of Intune and how you may split up responsibilities across multiple admins!- ericschreiber

Jason Sandys replied live: "it depends, but start on Security Baselines, then build from there". And make sure you really need it. But still, whatever works for you!
- Amarjeet5Iron ContributorAny changes for Intune change control specifically the multi-admin approval which is pretty good start. However, currently only supported on scripts and apps. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/multi-admin-approval#prerequisites-for-access-policies-and-approvers
- RobdeRoosIron ContributorThis needs to come indeed! That way you can assign tasks to junior administrators and they can't create a storm of issues without the policy being approved.

Thanks, Amarjeet! Now that MAA is in place, we are indeed actively looking at other Intune scenarios / workloads that can leverage MAA as well. Nothing to announce now, but stay tuned!
- JFSanchez987Copper ContributorFor driver/firmware updates through intune, will these updates follow the Quality update deferral and deadline settings in my windows update rings or is there a setting coming to update rings specifically to control how driver updates work? I’d like to deploy drivers in my environments with the availability for my users to run the install on their own for a week or so before the automatic installation happens.

Purview DLP has basic sensitive labels like, general, public, personal, confidential and highly confidential, I believe, that comes built-in, will there or could there be something along those lines for copilot for Intune? some like, "hey copilot, can you please create/setup the best practice Intune policies?" or "Hey copilot, can you setup/configure Intermediate Intune policies?" something along those lines and certain policies are configured and left for the admin to assign the needed group(s) to and/or tweak further.

Microsoft
Absolutely, Sidney! That is an area we're working on, using Copilot to make it easy for an admin to ask for baselines and best practices, and your idea of different "levels" of policies may fit nicely within that model. A big value of Copilot is saving you hours, not just minutes or seconds!
- Also .. jus theard someone talking about shared devices... any heads-up when that winget issue (acl issue from june is going to fixed 🙂 ) I heard that it was fixed... but also heard people talking about how it was not totally fixed 🙂
- This is what everyone needs to hear!!! thanks V 🙂 and Deepika.. talking about autopilot... We all love autopilot... so whats top of mind when we are talking about Autopilot
- RobdeRoosIron ContributorAutopilot 2.0!! When will we get it 😉
- I am not asking that question 😛 ... 🙂 you did 🙂
