- mgaviriaCopper ContributorHi, I'm not sure if someone posted this question. In Planner I,In MS Teams how can a @mentioned one of the collaborators? I have tried this, but the collaborator is not receiving a notification about the task.
- Cu0504Copper ContributorPlease address the Permissions issue. How to use Planner, share with team members, but not allow them the rights to update key fields like Due Date, Priority, etc. They also shouldn't be able to Delete tasks. This holds us back from implementing project wide.
- Brian-SmithFormer EmployeeThere aren't any current plans for granular permissions like you describe Connie - give us the feedback and scenarios via the Planner app - so the team can add your voice to others who are interested in such a feature.

Brian-Smiththat is an extremely disappointing response. The Planner team (old and new) have given that canned reply since the app was released nearly 10 years ago.
You know THAT everyone wants permission management in Planner.
You know WHY everyone wants it.
The only reason to NOT include it is to sell more Project/Planner Premium licenses. I understand the business logic, but this team can do better for it's users.
But if you insist on more feedback, here's SOME that has already been shared with your team:
- The planner can have the function of permission management
- MS Planner Read only Permission
- Add the planner member attribute
- Need function to limit permission view/edit planner and import task from excel
- MS Planner Read only Permission
- How can I permission rights to team members in the planner? Edit, Only View, Delete, etc...
- Permissions
- Read/Contribute/Edit Permission Levels
- view only access
- Task Permissions
- Restricting Edit Permissions in Microsoft Planner
- Permissions within Planner
- Roadmap for task/bucket deletion permissions?
- planner permissions

- viktorgabBrass ContributorNeeding a group connected to the plan to share tasks with other people is very inconvenient, how come Loop manages without it? Also, Loop "Plans" show on Planner Web App but on Teams we can only see the Tasks assigned to ourselves (not full plan). Will we be able to see it sometime?
- Brian-SmithFormer EmployeeLoop does use an entirely different approach to permissions Victor, but Planner also needs the Group for the comment threads and attachment storage. Also new Planner does have the My Plans view to see full plans. If it isn't your plan, but you see a task then opening the task details, and clicking on the Plan name at the top will open the full plan.

Thanks for you reply. When I mentioned "on Teams we can only see the Tasks assigned to ourselves (not full plan)", I meant those Loop "plans" specifically, such as below example. On Planner Web app I can see the full plan, including tasks for other people.
But on Teams, I can see only tasks assigned directly to me, the full plan won't appear on My Plans even if I created. Following your instructions after opening a task is not possible, because the plan name is not linked to anything in Teams.

- StephanieIRisleyCopper ContributorWhere is cost management in the Planner roadmap?
- BillBacoyiannisCopper ContributorWhat is the future for PowerBI Reporting currently in Project Online ? Can this be more integrated for Planner Premium similar to your competitors for easier dashboard reporting on the project, resources etc. George you did help me and my team two years ago on this topic , but love to see something more modern and integrated.

- Brian-SmithFormer EmployeeAnswered below, but for completeness - This is a feature of premium plans, updating actual work spent on tasks. This is also available for M365 E5 licensed users - for tasks they are assigned to - so no need for premium license.

Hello from Ecuador. Is there a roadmap to add the percentage in the status graph?
- PeterWielingaCopper Contributor
I would like multiple contributors for a task to ALL complete their task before it gets marked as "task complete." For example all not to review, before it completed. However, currently if only one person marks it as done, I is completed in the list. Can that be added?
