- CatarinaFrancoCopper ContributorChecking the roadmap (https://www.microsoft.com/pt-pt/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Copilot%20for%20Microsoft%20365%2CIn%20development) it's possible to see that in March, Copilot in Sharepoint will be released. My question is: Will this copilot work with information from sharepoint lists?

Hey Caterina, Copilot should be able to work with lists. It may need to find the exact words in the prompt and lists to support lexical search to start, but I believe that'll improve as they get indexed.- CatarinaFrancoCopper ContributorHello Gabe, I tried to ask Copilot about the information in the list, and even though it finds the list, it cannot answer anything about the list itself. It only references the list but it insists that I "check the file directly for more information or contact the authors". After getting this answer, I tried with copilot studio - Generative Answers, but according to this post (https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General/Copilot-studio-on-SharePoint-list/m-p/2561962/highlight/true#M8373), sharepoint lists are not a native data source for Gen Answers. When I export the list to excel, I can use copilot in excel and it works great. but with copilot 365, I don't get the answer I wanted. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
- Knut Relbe-MoeCopper ContributorWhat outcome are you looking for, form the SharePoint Lists?
- Bill_Titsworth2Copper ContributorI believe a good starting point for SharePoint List is to ensure Terminology of data is consistent and we are not calling one term (this) in one location within the Lists, and then calling the same term (that) in onother location. Having a connection to the Term Store in SharePoint to publish, manage, constrain, and modify inconsistent Terminology would be a great benefit; especially when there are many different users accessing a Lists to add records to the lists. I would look at this as a data cleanup operation to ensure consistency across the entire set of lists records... A large list containing 1000s of records takes a huge amount of time to correct inconsistent Terms.

- Noa_ToraCopper ContributorRegarding starter prompts and speaking of sharing. I wonder if Copilot can have a prompt scoring feature, a Yelp star scoring sort of, and put high score prompts to a community or team (in addition to individual user) starter prompts if that makes sense.

Microsoft
Hey Noa, this is great feedback! We're working on adding the ability to share prompts on Copilot Lab with colleagues within an organization and this could be a cool feature.
- Andreas_LorekCopper ContributorCan I train Copilot for PowerPoint do use the template of my organization and not to create slides from scratch with any random design?
- Yana Terukhova
Microsoft
We are working on the capability for Copilot to work with org templates. You are able to do it today by opening the template first and then asking Copilot to create.- Andreas_LorekCopper ContributorI tried this, but it was not really successful... Copilot just took one slide and the others were blank as well.
- reachrjIron ContributorI am also looking for the same. As of now what we do is open the org template ppt, erase the existing content and ask Copilot to create the new content. But it would be great if Copilot can use it by itself either by adding keywords in prompt or by default
- Olena_StCopper Contributor
- ssaabOccasional ReaderHi Yana, do we have a timeline for this functionality?
- reachrjIron ContributorWill these videos available later in Youtube? If yes only for registered users or public?
- GabeHo
Microsoft
They will be available first on this event page, but we will be making them available on YouTube in some way.
- Martha_Perez4444Copper ContributorIn my organization there is a great concern with security of the information placed in copilot. What are you doing to make this truly private

Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 is built on top of Microsoft’s current commitments to data security and privacy in the enterprise. There is no change to these commitments. Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 is integrated into Microsoft 365 and adheres to all existing privacy and compliance obligations. Also check https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-copilot/microsoft-365-copilot-privacy#how-does-microsoft-copilot-for-microsoft-365-use-your-proprietary-organizational-data, for example there is a clear statement that "Prompts, responses, and data accessed through Microsoft Graph aren't used to train foundation LLMs, including those used by Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365.". - StevenEGodwinCopper ContributorWhen will MS provision a Copilot demo tenant on the CDX please?
- When using Copilot in PowerPoint to generate slides, where do the images included on the generated slides originate from? Are images chosen from PowerPoint's Stock Images? MS Designer generated? Sourced from the web? Copyright on the images is important to understand. Thank you.
- GabeHo
Microsoft
Hey Joe, images are mostly stock images, but Copilot has the ability to add AI-generated images as well. This might be good to check out too https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/licensing/news/Microsoft-Copilot-Copyright-CommitmentThe Copilot in PowerPoint FAQ has been updated to address this concern. The images are pulled from stock images licensed for use in PowerPoint.
- ProfReedCopper ContributorAs a professor who teaches Microsoft Office classes at my college, what resources will be available to learn Copilot to teach my students? One way to grow CoPilot is to get college students use to using it as they will be the next group of business professionals using it.

Hey Jason, fantastic point. We just launched https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/courses/ms-4005 that is targeted at end users and the fundamentals of prompting. You can also watch the session on Prompting Fundamentals tomorrow!- ProfReedCopper ContributorI look forward to the session tomorrow. I will check out the courses. I am hoping to get my institution to approve the use of CoPilot so me and a few other faculty members can gain some hands on experience. However, I believe they are concerned about security.
