Checking the roadmap (https://www.microsoft.com/pt-pt/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Copilot%20for%20Microsoft%20365%2CIn%20development) it's possible to see that in March, Copilot in Sharepoint will be released. My question is: Will this copilot work with information from sharepoint lists?
Hey Caterina, Copilot should be able to work with lists. It may need to find the exact words in the prompt and lists to support lexical search to start, but I believe that'll improve as they get indexed.
- Hello Gabe, I tried to ask Copilot about the information in the list, and even though it finds the list, it cannot answer anything about the list itself. It only references the list but it insists that I "check the file directly for more information or contact the authors". After getting this answer, I tried with copilot studio - Generative Answers, but according to this post (https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General/Copilot-studio-on-SharePoint-list/m-p/2561962/highlight/true#M8373), sharepoint lists are not a native data source for Gen Answers. When I export the list to excel, I can use copilot in excel and it works great. but with copilot 365, I don't get the answer I wanted. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
