We hope you enjoyed today’s session of Microsoft Marketplace partner office hours. David shared a lot of great resources in his presentation so here is a recap for your reference:

Some Microsoft subscriptions are one-year, monthly-billed, and non-cancelable. Even with great technology, attrition happens. If a customer stops paying for legitimate reasons such as bankruptcy, business closure, or leaving a clinic, is there anything a CSP can do?

Hi James - Channel Ready here. You may need to rely on another stable identifier — not customer name, such as:

      • OrderID in Earnings
      • purchaseRecordID in Revenue/Orders

These two IDs are methods to reconcile reports when customer names differ.

There's also CustomerID in the Revenue report, per David's response.

Hi April - Channel Ready here. The “Upcoming” payment status indicates that Microsoft has registered the transaction and that a payout will be issued once it moves through Microsoft’s standard payout cycle.

Payouts are issued only after the transaction is fully completed and processed by Microsoft’s payout systems. Partner Center does not currently surface a payout month, estimate, or schedule associated with “Upcoming.”

Where can future invoiced / payout data be found?

    example: 3 year annualized deals

We have issues forecasting with sales. Is this data available for pull?

      Hi April,

No — future‑dated invoiced or payout data (e.g., future annualized years of a 3‑year deal) is not available for pull from Partner Center or Marketplace Insights.

All available data is historic actuals only (billed revenue, usage, and payout after Microsoft collects customer payment). There is no forward‑looking invoicing or payout forecast provided in any dashboard.

Is there any roadmap of this feature being added?
