How to separate non-indented number points from indented number points?
Word used to be more efficient. Why do I need to open a bunch of pages and instructions to make a simple multilevel list on a new clean document while been using word for 20 years and did custom multilevel list on more of my word documents? Headings shouldn't be a must but an option. Word automation should only interfere if asked. We still have brain we didn't run over AIs yet. It's the first time I using Office 365 as I've been using corporate office at work so I guess there is a difference between them.
Even CoPilot in word after not been able to help suggested me to use an Open Source Office 😅as these are more friendly to give you freedom to do what exactly you want. The photos below from Word's copilot after both gave up 🙃
Anthi, multilevel lists haven't changed much over the years. The rules for setting them up discussed in Shauna Kelly's article at https://shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/numbering20072010.html (initially written for Word 2007 and Word 2010) still apply.
