Equations not rendering in Word
- Jun 11, 2023
Monica1265 While you can see the equation on the Web application when in View only mode, to edit the equation in that application, you need to right click on the equation and then on Equation from the menu that appears.
Hi Doug.
Yes of course. Here you will find two images: https://imgur.com/a/Rts5yfx
One image represents the Equations written on the Microsoft Word Document Application itself. The products here (Word & etc) are up-to-date and were opened and used through Windows 10.
The second image represents equations transferred to Microsoft Word Document. It was uploaded to OneDrive Live to be shared across group members. However, the equation data somehow failed to be transferred, hence I do not understand why the equations are gone.
Our unfortunate solution was to ignore the Live option. Do you have any suggestions for what we can do?
MuradValiev Can you upload a copy of the document so that we can investigate the issue.

MuradValiev As I now note in your screen shot, when an attempt is made to view the equation in the Equation Tools, there is a note: "Looks like your input is not supported"
While I am not sure of the reason for that, the equations can be seen if the user switches to the Viewing Mode.

Yes sure.
Here is the relevant portion of the file [draft_equation_error_1.1]. This document is ready to be uploaded to OneDrive Live, if you wish to attempt the process of opening this specific document on a web browser (Google Chrome is what I used).
While this is link to draft_equation_error_1.2; a copy of 1.1, uploaded to OneDrive live (you can only read here)
