This has also been reported in Q&A forum at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5969546/not-solved-performance-graphic-issue-word-cursor-f . In most cases, multiposting isn't a good idea.
Make sure that you report this to Microsoft via the feedback facility, if you haven't already done so.
