Creating a new bullet point from current selection

Hi

Is it possible to easily create a new bullet point entry from the current selection in Word?

I spend loads of my life in one doc, and I'm constantly editing bullet points, normally having to change the space between the point and the text to make them closer together.

I can't see the option in the new bullet point dialogue to change this particularly distance.

Is it possible to create a new bullet point entry from one I've done earlier?

You can incorporate bullet formatting into a paragraph style. Use the Update <Style Name > to Match Selection command.

Remember that you have to adjust indentation around bulleted or numbered items through the Adjust List Indents dialog box. Click to select the actual bullet symbols. Right-click and choose Adjust List Indents. Once you are done, you can update the style again (see my previous reply).
