Unable to prevent annoying blue prompts from appearing
How can I prevent the blue prompts which look like the attached from appearing on Windows 10 2004? They appear from time to time. For instance, some time ago, one regarding Kaspersky appeared reminding me to renew its license. After clicking "Close", Windows restarted.
You can disable notifications for individual applications from the Windows Settings:
1. Open Settings (press Windows + I).
2. Go to System > Notifications & actions.
3. In the Get notifications from these senders section, find Kaspersky or any other application that sends these prompts.4.Toggle off the switch for that application.

Sometimes annoying prompts can be a symptom of an outdated or corrupted installation. Consider updating Kaspersky to the latest version or reinstalling it altogether.

Some prompts can be triggered by scheduled tasks. If you want to find out if Kaspersky (or another program) has scheduled tasks causing these alerts:
Open Task Scheduler: Type Task Scheduler in the Start menu and open it.
Look for Kaspersky Tasks: Browse through the Library (usually under Kaspersky) to see if there are scheduled tasks that trigger those notifications. You can disable them if they seem unnecessary. - CedricRichmondCopper Contributor
Sometimes, the app itself (like Kaspersky) might have its own notification settings. Open Kaspersky and look through its preferences to see if there are options for disabling reminders or notifications related to license renewals.

Open internet Explorer......left click the little gear icon in top right corner of screen........scroll down and left click on internet options in panel that opens Left click on advanced.
When that panel opens, Left click on RESTORE ADVANCED SETTINGS........Then left click RESET and then Left click the next RESET......then left click CLOSE. Restart your computer and behold, no blue pop-up for windows 10.

To prevent the blue prompts (likely toast notifications or system alerts) from appearing on Windows 10 2004, you can try the following steps:
- Disable Notifications for Specific Apps:
- Go to Settings > System > Notifications & actions.
- Scroll down and find Kaspersky (or any other app causing the prompt).
- Toggle off the notifications for that app.
- Disable System Notifications:
- In the Notifications & actions section, you can also disable Get notifications from apps and other senders to prevent general pop-up alerts.
- Turn off Windows Tips:
- Go to Settings > System > Notifications & actions.
- Disable Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows to prevent any unwanted Windows system messages.
- Manage Kaspersky Notifications:
- Open Kaspersky and navigate to Settings.
- Look for Notifications or License Renewal Notifications and disable them from there.
By doing this, you should reduce or eliminate the unwanted prompts and prevent Windows from restarting after closing them.
