Adam Dorobis Thanks for the heads up downloading it now.

Or at least remove this one as clearly it is broken. We can wait for the next one, no problem with that 🙂
- TheGreatPandiculatorCopper Contributor13th of March, still having this issue... Getting the error 0xc1900101. Has anyone actually succeeded in installing this update? Wouldn't really want to do a fresh install or go the Canary route and get even more problems...

- Andrew998Copper ContributorI believe I've now fixed this. I believe I was able to upgrade to this release by uninstalling the AMD Special Tools Driver. It would be good to know if this works for anybody else.
- HeinserCopper ContributorI can confirm the issue is with the AMD gpu drivers, i removed them with DDU and performed update and went fine
- XmattXBrass ContributorThat can’t be the only reason it’s failing, since I’m on a laptop without any AMD software whatsoever on it, but I’m glad it worked out for you.

I have the same problem, so right now I do not update my PC - because if I run this update, I have to reinstall my windows 😞
- SimplyCosmicCopper ContributorAnother with the same issue. Once the update causes the reboot, the system gets to the initial Windows load and then the circle stops spinning and freezes with no progress when left alone. Eventually, I restart the system manually and it reverts to the prior version.

Anyone had any contact with MS regarding this issue? It's driving me nuts trying to figure out the solution on my own. Why don't they come out with a proper response on the problem?

santoshheisnamSame issue here. I also have AMD CPUs and a custom build. RTX 2060 is my GPU. I recently upgraded some drivers -- in NVIDIA's tool and with CCCleaner. My guess is Microsoft is not prepared for an updated system. My gameplan is to switch to canary channel, request updates as soon as they come, pause updates for a week, and hope they can get their heads wrapped around the issue by then.
