can't upgrade to windows 11 insider preview 10.0.26058.1100 (ge_release) error code 0xdx0000034

i am using a surface pro x 1876 model

I believe I've now fixed this. I believe I was able to upgrade to this release by uninstalling the AMD Special Tools Driver. It would be good to know if this works for anybody else.

That can’t be the only reason it’s failing, since I’m on a laptop without any AMD software whatsoever on it, but I’m glad it worked out for you.

    XmattX I solved the problem, after three weeks of failed attempts, by uninstalling the AMD Adrenaline drivers. I believe the incompatibility is with AMD products

        I suspect it will still be a driver issue. Most of the reported issues with this release are from AMD users.

    I did make one other change but discounted it because it was always likely to be a driver problem.

    The other change I made was to install the Chinese (Basic) language.
