WMIC Deprecation: Why remove it entirely instead of providing a backward-compatible stub?

I wish they'd do something to keep WMIC about....I'm losing thousands of dollars a day that I could be doing something profitable vs using that time rolling back everyone's Windows Break-dates so that people's software can still work correctly.......
