Windows search bar problem - searching for updates creates a problem.
i bought a new laptop and i typed the word, up, in the search bar. i typed, up, because it auto completes usually to updates, and then i click on check for updates, and the computer opens the updat...
Press the Windows key + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter to open the Services console. Find the "Windows Search" service, right-click it, and select "Stop". Then, right-click it again and select "Properties". Set the startup type to "Disabled" and click "OK". This will disable the Windows Search service.
