Windows search bar problem - searching for updates creates a problem.
i bought a new laptop and i typed the word, up, in the search bar. i typed, up, because it auto completes usually to updates, and then i click on check for updates, and the computer opens the updat...
Sometimes, the search index or search components get corrupted. Run the Search and Indexing Troubleshooter:
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
Select Search and Indexing and run the troubleshooter.
