Windows 11 system Bluetooth headphones frequently disconnect and become silent.

After connecting Bluetooth headphones to a Windows 11 computer, they frequently disconnect automatically and produce no sound output during connection (the headphones work normally when connected to other devices). Attempts to reinstall the driver and reset Bluetooth settings have been ineffective.

Bluetooth headphone disconnections on Windows 11 often stem from driver or power management issues. To fix:

    1. Update Bluetooth and audio drivers from the manufacturer’s site.
    2. Disable Bluetooth power saving: in Device Manager, under Bluetooth > Properties > Power Management, uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”
    3. Remove and re-pair the headphones.
    4. Check for Windows updates.

If issues persist, try using the headphones on another Bluetooth adapter or USB dongle.

In Device Manager > Bluetooth, disable the option Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power and update the Bluetooth driver to the latest version.
