Windows 11 Repair Error 0xc000000e - Nothing Works
Good morning all
Yesterday morning the PC worked just fine. A few hours later we decided to turn the PC on and got the 0xc000000e error code with a few options to repair. However trying to recover or access a DOS prompt just return us to this page. Nothing works.
I have created a USB drive with Windows 11 Pro on it and injected the Intel RST (NVMe drivers) into it so it can see the NVMe Windows drive (of which there are 4 in raid 10).
When loading from the Windows 11 installation USB, I have 2 options... recover (may be called repair) or install Windows 11. The Windows 11 option has a tick box that has to be filled in stating delete all files. The next Window wont appear until this is selected! I obviously cant do this.
The repair options are pretty useless. recover does not work.
DOS prompt works and I can see the hard drive in Diskpart.
What I need is an upgrade install so I can keep the existing programs and files
or at worst an option to allow me to reinstall, however while retaining the existing version of windows in a Windows old folder.
I just can't find a way to save the files.
I can make the main NVMe Windows 11 drive active in diskpart to allow me to access the installed version of Windows... but I know that copying the full drive this way will be rather painful!
Please can anyone advise how I can get Windows 11 working again please?
Thanks for any advise in advanced
