Windows 11 Phone Link Notifications - Click Goes to Search on Browser - Worthless
In Phone Link, there are "Notifications" on the left-hand side. I usually want to "X" out of 90% of them. But I'll occasionally miss the "X" and that means I've clicked on the notification. Then it takes me to Edge (my default browser) and does a web search for the Notification app. That is worthless! My phone has notifications from Gmail, Weather, Ring, Messages, etc. That "feature" literally has NEVER taken me anywhere useful! I have to close the browser search page and Alt-Tab back to Phone Link. Can we turn that off please?
Open the Phone Link app on your PC, go to Settings (the gear icon), and find the Notifications section.

When you click on a Phone Link notification, the app is designed to open Phone Link's own interface on your PC, not the original app.

Thanks, Paulkio! Turns out, asking Copilot was the wrong way to go. There is a "Notifications" section in Settings under "General". This time, I searched on and found under "Features" there's another "Notifications" section. This one had the magic switch, "Allow my notifications to launch my default browser". Turn that puppy off and Voila!
Having a notification click open a browser search instead of taking you to the relevant app or message does make the Phone Link notification panel less useful. An option to disable notification clicks or control how different notification types are handled would be a much better experience.
