One possible issue could be credential caching when all your computers are:
- set up with your Microsoft ID
- set to use PIN login
I just had the same problem setting up a new Windows 11 computer and trying to connect to existing Windows 10 and 11 computers on my home workgroup.
The issue was that I use PIN login on all my computers, but I also change my Microsoft Account password quarterly. When I change my password on Microsoft, my PIN-sign-in computers never update the password cache. The key is to login to each computer with my current (new) Microsoft password to force an update to the local password cache on each computer. Then, when I access a share on the network, all computers have the same credentials and the access is permitted.
