Windows 11 Microsoft no longer forces a Microsoft account
I reinstalled Windows 11 Home and was able to create a local account directly without a Microsoft account. Is this change official and available to all stable channel users?
Looks like OP is from the EEA (European Economic Area); this could be due to some of the privacy and software freedoms the EU provides. That or, since they seem to be French specifically, if I'm picking the language correctly, it could be a response to the push the French government's been making to move away from Microsoft and into digital sovereignty era (at least for the government itself).
