What do you use to speed your sluggish windows 11 machine ?
I am experiencing a frustrating performance issue. My system ( running on a fast NVMe SSD with 32GB of RAM) is generally very responsive. However, I'm experiencing constant micro-freezes, lasting just 2 seconds, that are almost always tied to File explorer operations. It happens when
- Opening a folder with numerous files ( especially media or executable).
- Right-clicking on the desktop or within a folder.
- The " Save As " OR "Open" dialog box appears in any application.
It's this specific interaction with the file system shell that causes the entire system to suffer momentarily. I am think it is deeper issue, is this something to worry about ?

Make a clean install.
Hello,
Suggest you to run System File Checker scan:
- Search for 'command prompt' using Cortana or Windows Search.
- From results, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
- Type sfc /scannow command and press Enter key.
- Let the command complete and then reboot the machine.
If that doesn't works, try these steps:
- Search for 'windows powershell' using Cortana or Windows Search.
- From results, choose Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
- Then type/paste following and press Enter key:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth
- Let the command complete, restart your system then.
Additionally, I recommend to full scan your system with Windows Defender.
