Video Editor

Since installing Windows 11 I cannot use video editor. I can upload a video but the moment I move it to the storyboard it just shuts down. Any ideas of how I can fix this--I edit a lot of videos for work so need it back up and running asap. I'm also having trouble playing videos with media player--it's doing thesame thing, crashing!
