There is a problem with File History; a protest is lodged.
Your Microsoft technical team has repeatedly corrupted file history. Since the July 28th/August 13th updates KB5101684/KB5120249, my file history has reappeared. Backups to the D drive are successful...

Files are actually backed up to the D: drive, but the "Last backup" timestamp does not update.

Even after deleting InconsistentState from C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\FileHistory\Configuration, although File History can be enabled, clicking "Execute Now" results in a "Reconnect to Disk Drive" error. I had to go to Console > All Console Items > File History > Select Drive > and click D drive again, but it still didn't work.
