The Always show all icons setting in Windows 11 Folder Options isn't working properly
In Folder Options, I checked the box for Show hidden files, folders, and drives and unchecked the box for Hide protected operating system files, but some hidden files or folders still aren't showing up. The problem persists even after refreshing or restarting File Explorer; it's as if the system is ignoring the settings.

Hi, Folder Options has two separate settings: showing hidden items and showing protected operating system files. If both are set correctly but items still do not appear, restart Explorer, check whether a policy is controlling File Explorer, and confirm the files are not hidden by permissions or stored in another user profile. If needed, using attrib from an elevated prompt can confirm whether the files are marked Hidden or System.
