Sleep function has never really worked on Windows 11 LG Laptop
I purchased a new LG Gram last spring and the sleep function has never seemed to work properly. When I put the computer to sleep it seems to still run. The LED next to the power button is slowly blinking as if the machine is asleep but the fan still runs and I can hear notification bells from things like incoming emails.
When I unplug the machine and put it in my bag for a few hours it often appears to shut down automatically. I don't think this is sleep because I'll turn it back on and it goes through the boot process from the beginning.
I have the machine set to sleep when the lid closes or it sits idle for 15 min but the normal sleep function I'm used to where the machine is completely idle unless I press a key to wake it doesn't work.

Did you ever figure this out ?
I bought a 2024 LG Gram 15.6 from Costco two weeks ago. It just won't go to sleep, whether unplugged or plugged in, with the lid open or closed.
The battery went nearly flat during a >24 hour journey last week while in the backpack in the overhead bin.
It was stealing the Bluetooth headphones from my smartphone, too.
The darn thing just wouldn't sleep.
Is there any kind of fix ? I'm ready to return it to Costco if not.
I was able to fix mine by reinstalling Windows. You can do it without deleting your files or programs.
