Six Sigma promotions won't go away.
Hi, and know that I'm Microsoft experienced but not a coder or programmer. I found a Six Sigma attachment to my online academic course, and the institution claims it isn't on their screens, and isn't approved nor endorsed by them. Now the promotions are flooding my MSN feed. I tried the steps on your and various other outlets with no luck.
How do I stop it? I'm not a Six Sigma practitioner nor a supporter. How did they get into my system, and how to I expell them?

It sounds like Six Sigma material appeared in an academic course, while the recurring promotions are in your MSN feed. Because the institution cannot identify the attachment, those feed items alone do not prove software was installed; MSN personalizes content using account preferences and interaction signals.
On each card, open More and choose Not interested, Hide this story, or block the publisher. Then open Widgets profile, manage interests and followed or blocked publishers, and remove related topics. To disable the feed, open Widgets settings, choose Show or hide feeds, and turn Feed off. In Edge, set the new-tab feed to Content off and clear cookies for the course site and MSN.
If promotions appear as pop-ups outside MSN, review Edge extensions and Windows apps, then run a Windows Security Virus & threat protection scan. The institution must inspect the course package or LMS logs to determine how the attachment appeared.
