Provisioning packages allow you to preconfigure many settings, including default apps, taskbar layout, and device configuration, which are applied during or after OOBE (Out-Of-Box Experience).
Windows Autopilot can also be used for initial device setup and pre-configuration, including deploying provisioning packages.
