Rename not working in File Explorer on Windows 11
For an unknown reason, File Explorer stopped letting me rename folders. It lets me create them, it lets me rename files, and I can rename files & folders using the Command Line. It is only File Explorer renaming folders that is a problem. I have done a Windows Repair (and several other things with the help of Copilot), and I am using Windows 11 Home 25H2 26200.9168 on a Surface Pro 11. Has anybody else had this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Same problem here on a desktop. I can change the names via the properties of the file, I just cannot slow click on the file, or right click "Rename", or F2 to change the file names. It is a very recent development in the last month or so. Thought it might be PowerToys PowerRename or Google Drive. Reinstalled Google Drive and turned off PowerRename, and it appears to be fixed. Make sure you've the required permissions for the folders you want to rename.
Run sfc /scannow command to fix corruption with system files.
Additionally, perform a quick scan using Windows Security.
I have done all of those things. I also had a support session with Microsoft Support, and they did them as well (and I am guessing looked at all the related/significant settings).
