Rename not working in File Explorer on Windows 11
For an unknown reason, File Explorer stopped letting me rename folders. It lets me create them, it lets me rename files, and I can rename files & folders using the Command Line. It is only File Explo...
Make sure you've the required permissions for the folders you want to rename.
Run sfc /scannow command to fix corruption with system files.
Additionally, perform a quick scan using Windows Security.
I have done all of those things. I also had a support session with Microsoft Support, and they did them as well (and I am guessing looked at all the related/significant settings).
