Thanks for the reply. To be honest, I don't want to "upgrade" at all if its still slower. Would be interested to see what other people here experience too. I run a small engineering business and we all use synced Sharepoint folders. Snappiness of File Explorer is a must and it works very well in Windows 10.

I haven't worked out exactly which patch, but I do agree that it does seem to have got materially better in the last few days. I would probably give it around an 85% rating compared to windows 10 (last week I would give a 5% rating). There is still a bit of snappiness missing but it is now definitely liveable and my workflow is negligibly impacted now. Enough that I wouldn't push my end users to stay on win 10, but most aren't power users so would only in a limited way notice the performance decrease.
- dazukFeb 10, 2022Brass ContributorSaddly, I installed an update (KB5010386) that Microsoft proudly said to address performance issues, I can advise that on older PC (with SSD, 8GB ram etc) didn't make any difference. Working on OneDrive files is a pain, have this main issue haven't been addressed.
