Not able to Turn on Windows 11 Sandbox feature
This is the third time I’m posting this. I’m not sure why my post isn’t getting approved for others to see, but I’ll try again.
I just bought a new Dell machine running Windows 11. I’m trying to enable the Windows Sandbox feature.
First, I enabled Hyper-V, and that worked fine. But when I try to enable Windows Sandbox, the machine reboots and then freezes on a black screen. The screen says something like: “Turning on the feature, 100% complete. Do not turn off the computer.”
The only way I’ve found to recover from this is to restore the machine to factory settings, which causes me to lose all my work.
I thought there would be a Safe Boot option, but Dell Support told me I would need a BitLocker key from Microsoft, which sounds odd.
Does anyone know what’s going on? Are Hyper-V and Windows Sandbox incompatible?
This seems like a bug in Windows 11, but I’m not getting any support so far.

Windows Sandbox requires Hyper-V to be enabled, but not all hardware or configurations support both seamlessly.

Windows Sandbox requires Hyper-V to be enabled, but it also needs specific hardware and configuration settings. Generally, if Hyper-V is working, Sandbox should work too. However, some hardware or BIOS settings might interfere.
