No app thumbnail on taskbar
Hello! I noticed that whenever I open an app that's not pinned on my taskbar, it would show up like this. I have a screenshot with Spotify, for this example. There are some other situations ...
The comment by the user on this post (whose account is deleted) worked for me. Note that I am on Windows 10.
Right-click the running app, then from the new options that appear in the list right-click the app name again (in this case, Spotify), and then click on properties. Near the bottom of the options, click "Change Icon" and click on the image of the application, then click OK. Then, in the properties menu, click apply. That resolved the issue for me.
