My Scanner Is Detected but Not Ready
My scanner shows up in Device Manager and Windows Scan app as being connected, but it always says "not ready" or "offline" whenever I try to scan anything, and I've already tried reinstalling the drivers, checking the USB cable, and restarting both the scanner and my PC. The scanner works fine on another computer, so I'm wondering if there's something specific to Windows 11 that's causing this issue, like a recent update or a setting I'm missing.

Hi, if the scanner works on another PC, I’d focus on the Windows Image Acquisition service and the local driver stack. Remove the scanner from Devices, uninstall the driver package, reboot, then install the full manufacturer scanner package rather than only the basic Windows driver. Also check that the WIA service is running.
