KB5101684/KB5120249 caused File History errors, but Microsoft has not acknowledged them.

Despite the large number of user reports from places like the Microsoft Q&A forum, Microsoft has not officially listed this specific problem as a known issue for either KB5101684 or KB5120249. They did officially acknowledge a different File History bug in April 2026 (related to SMB network backups), and KB5120249 was actually released to fix SMB backup problems.
