Is it possible to disable Bitlocker in Windows 11 startup?
Hello, I am looking to install a BIOS update. A while back, I was trying to enter safe mode, and I don't recall if I was able to or not. However, I recall that I was required to use a Bitlocker key to run advanced startup on one of my systems (possibly this one).
I have read that to update BIOS, it is necessary to disable Bitlocker. However, when i followed some instructions that I had found, I was not able to do so. If someone might have information, it would be appreciated.

Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Device encryption (or Settings > System > About and look for "Device encryption" settings).
Alternatively, open the Control Panel, go to System and Security > BitLocker Drive Encryption.
You will see your operating system drive (C:). Click "Turn off BitLocker".
A confirmation dialog will appear. Click "Decrypt drive".
The decryption process will begin in the background. You can continue to use your computer while it decrypts. You can check the progress in the same BitLocker menu.
