Installing Windows 11 prompts that media drivers are missing

When installing Windows 11 on a Lenovo P14s Gen 5 (AMD) laptop, the installation process stalled due to missing media drivers. The error message was vague (only indicating that a USB or hard drive driver might be required). Attempts to download all drivers from the official website were unsuccessful.

Try a Different USB Port. This is the easiest fix. Unplug your bootable USB installer and plug it into a different USB port.

Or recreate the Bootable USB Drive. The USB drive might be corrupted. Use a different USB stick (at least 8 GB).

Please make a bootable USB drive with the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool. It seems the install.wim file was not split successfully.
