iCloud for Outlook Incorrect Username or Password
Stuar1620The only solution I found was to install Office 64 bit - it doesn't work with the 32 bit version.
DaveR42 I'm using Outlook 2019 that is 64 bits already. Before I was using the same Outlook 2019 with Windows 10 and was working properly. The problem with the authentication was after upgrade to Windows 11.
I have done a lot of tentatives but with no sucess. A called to Apple support and they told I should call to Microsoft support. I tried to call to Microsoft support but the are nos offering support by phone (very disappointed....)

Stuar1620 I have another PC with Windows 10 that is still working fine. My main PC, which had Windows 11, was experiencing this problem.. On the Windows 11 PC, I wiped the 32-bit version of Outlook and iCloud, then installed the 64-bit version of Outlook. This solved the problem, although I still have no idea why this resolved the issue.

My guess is that Apple has tested and optimized for the 64-bit version, either because their own applications are 64-bit, or because they think (know?) that the bulk of new installations are 64-bit.
That said, Office isn't changing much over time at this point, with the 2016, 2019, 2021, and 365 versions using the same registry settings and general architecture, so breaking Outlook with a new iTunes release in 32-bits, while having it work in 64-bits, is odd.- MarMDJul 05, 2024Copper ContributorI agree it is odd. The iCloud plug-in file is located at C:\ProgramData\Apple Inc\iCloud\Outlook\APLZOD6432.dll, which is supposed to work with both Office 64-bit and 32-bit versions. Maybe someone can try to get an older version of this file to replace the new version and check if this can resolve the issue without crashing the iCloud

Stuar1620 I solved this problem with installing an older version of iCloud and blocked automatic updates…
- jmcrawfJul 01, 2024Brass ContributorAn older version of iCloud will definitely work.
However, when I tried that, it wiped out all my iCloud calendars and overwrote contacts with information from Outlook, eliminating months of changes.
If you try this, be sure to completely back up your iCloud contacts and calendars first.

Have you tried: a) Removing all credentials from the credential manager and rebooting? b) Credential removal, then iCloud sign-out and uninstall, then starting fresh?
Additional steps outlined Detailed steps in the post "iCloud sync solution for 32-bit Outlook (incorrect password, default profile error, iCloud repair)".
I have no suggestions beyond those ideas. Though that's certainly plenty to try.
