I need Vertical Taskbar with Start at the top like in W10

Why in the world are we limited to another useless start menu that tells me how I should use the system.  Windows 10 Start menu with the gridded icons was the best  layout and placing the task bar on the left side let me open multiple applications and see the names of each without the list getting squeezed when more applications are opened.  Why do these child developers today need to reinvent things and think that the old was was no good and their NEW WAY is the best,

I also can't remove the RECOMMENDED title in the recommended section when I don't want any recommendations.  UGH!  and why can't I clear out the open space between icons in the start menu and remove the titles???  I use the system every day, I know the symbols for the applications.  I don't need the names...  and if I want the name I was always able to hover over the icon to get the title in a pop-up.  What was wrong with that way of doing things.

UGH!

To make it vertical, drag the taskbar to the left edge of the screen until it snaps into a vertical position, or use the Taskbar alignment setting to Left and then rotate the taskbar if needed (though Windows 11 primarily supports horizontal alignment directly).

TaskbarX can help with positioning and transparency, but not necessarily changing the Start menu position.

Windows 11's design is more locked-in, but some third-party Start menu apps allow removing text labels or adjusting spacing, giving a cleaner look.
