I am looking for help (Windows 11 PC)
I’ve been trying to switch boot drives for almost a week.
My Windows 11 PC is currently stuck only booting into bios. I reset cmos. Adjusting all settings before and after. Nothing is working. When inserting the windows installer usb that worked just a couple days ago, still nothing.
Would it help if I wiped the new nvme I’ve been trying to set up (at multiple points seemed like I had successfully set up).
I’m genuinely at a complete loss here. Please help me. If I do a secure erase of windows and everything on the drive will that potentially allow me to reinstall windows or will it make my problem worse

Your PC boots to BIOS (not Windows) for one fundamental reason: the BIOS cannot find a valid, bootable operating system on any connected drive. This usually means one of three things:
- The boot drive is not being detected at all
- The boot order is incorrect
- The drive's partition style doesn't match the BIOS mode
