How to extract a rar file without password on a Windows 11 PC?
Hello everyone, I'm facing a challenge and could use some advice from this community. I have a password protected RAR file that I need to access, but unfortunately, I don't have the password for it....
It's really a headache to encounter this situation, but there are still a few ways to try:
- Try common passwords: If you often use similar passwords, try to recall the common combinations first. Sometimes we habitually use a few common passwords when setting passwords.
- RAR password recovery tools: Some tools are specifically used to crack password of RAR files. Although these tools take some time to brute force, the effect is still good.
- Contact the sender of the file: If this RAR file was sent to you by someone else, you can try to contact the other party to ask for the password. If you packaged it yourself many years ago, you may be able to find it by looking through old records.
But remember to maintain legal operations, especially when using password cracking tools.
