    To access the advanced recovery options in Windows 10 or Windows 11, press and hold the Shift key while clicking Restart from the Power menu. This will boot your PC into the Advanced Startup Options, allowing you to troubleshoot, reset, or access recovery tools.

    To add a little more context to your tip: holding Shift while clicking Restart bypasses the normal fast startup process and forces Windows to boot directly into the Advanced Startup Options (also known as the Windows Recovery Environment or WinRE).
