God **bleep** it MS if bitlocker is off when I reset to reinstall I want it off not on!
Just no I will enable bitlocker when I want it on and if I reset the PC and its off it should be off!
The only good thing about this is its easy to undo

I completely understand your frustration. It’s really inconvenient when system features like BitLocker get enabled or reactivated unexpectedly after resets or reinstalls, especially when you don’t want them active. Your expectation is reasonable: if you turn it off, it should stay off unless you explicitly enable it again.
