Excel, or word, pdf, revit, bugging out whenever involving pop ups asking for user confirmation?

While using excel, word, pdf, revit, MemDes(a structural engineer software) or any software rarely, whenever a pop up asking for user confirmation comes up(for example I'm printing an excel to pdf with same name as another pdf to replace it, and it asks me to confirm), the pop up closes/automatically cancels within half a second before I can confirm yes and carry out the act. This leads to me unable to replace files, or even save files depending on the software I'm using.
