Cntl-c/b/s/r/m all non-functioning after Win10-11 upgrade
Cntl (left and right)-c/b/s/r/m are all non-functioning after my upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
I have:
- upgraded the keyboard driver (they were already the latest)
- removed the driver and rebooted
- checked the onscreen keyboard (doesn't work for those keys)
- uninstalled/disabled MS Game Mode
- the keyboard is hooked up to a KVM - works properly on the other Win11 system, so it isn't a hardware issue - it's clearly a this-Windows-install issue
- Moved the keyboard off the KVM directly to the Windows box - same issue
- Used KeyboardTest V4.0 to check all keys - cntl-c/cntl-b/cntl-s/cntl-r/cntl-m don't show any response
- stopped all software via taskmanager that I could (of course, many MS ones restarted)
- enabled cntl-key shortcuts in CMD
- clipboard manager is disabled (tried both on and off)
- ran:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
SFC /ScanNow
Any additional help that isn't one of the above items would be appreciated.
