Just posting to say that Microsoft's shady tactics have worked. Being completely unable to get support I've had to purchase a copy of Windows 11 Pro from their store. In the future I plan on moving away from the Microsoft ecosystem as much as possible and, if possible, will not buy any more products from them. This level of customer disrespect and lack of care is unacceptable for what is essentially an OS monopoly when it comes to the programs I want to use.
