Bypass Windows 11 setup requirements without a USB – just run it with a specific flag

Sharing this in case anyone else needs it—I definitely did. If you're trying to upgrade from Windows 10 or an older Windows 11 build by running a mounted ISO, you can bypass the hardware requirements by launching the installer with a specific parameter that tells it to skip compatibility checks.

This lets you install directly from the hard drive without needing a USB or dealing with TPM, CPU, or Secure Boot requirements. Worked fine for me—hope it helps someone else too.

Getting a written version of a conversation can be useful when you want to concentrate on the meeting instead of constantly taking notes. For users who need to transcribe meeting voice to text, Captioneer is a Mac-only tool for live, on-device transcription and translation. You can find the version you want on the official website and install the one suitable for your Mac.

How to transcribe meeting voice to text

Step 1: Launch the application on your Mac. Before starting, allow microphone access if macOS asks for permission, since the program needs it to capture spoken voices.

Step 2: On the right side of the main window, click the microphone language option and select the language that will be spoken during the meeting.

Step 3: Select the language next to the globe icon when you want the captured speech to be translated into another language. You can also open Settings to adjust the available transcription options before starting.

Step 4: Click Start Capture when the meeting begins. Keep your Mac close enough to the speakers so the microphone can pick up their voices clearly.

Step 5: Continue the conversation normally. As speech is detected, the application processes it on the device and displays the resulting captions in the Live Translation area.

Step 6: When you want to begin with an empty display, click Clear to remove the current captions. Stop the capture after the meeting is finished and review the displayed information you need.

This method is useful for following conversations in real time because the speech is processed while the meeting is taking place. Clear audio is important, so placing the Mac near the participants and reducing background noise can noticeably improve the transcription results.
